Blantyre's Soundtec Disco is managed by Barry Watt.

Barry started DJ ing in the local Youth Centre in 1990 and soon developed a need to expand.

In 1991 he entered the Mobile Disco Business, and gradually built up the business for five years before buying Soundtrax Mobile Discos in 1996 and changing the name to Soundtec.

Since starting the buisness it has gone from strength to strength and he has increased his customer base and played hundreds of venues all over Scotland.

At Soundtec we have thousands of tunes at hand to play at your function- but if you are unsure just ask at the time of booking and we'll make sure we've got it on the night!

Here are just a few examples of our music:

From The Beach Boys, Abba, The Bee Gees, Van Morrison, Barry White, Wham and The Bay City Rollers to The Darkness, Robbie, Anastacia, Girls Aloud, Shapeshifters and The Lovefreekz.

We can also play Themed Music eg 70's, 80's or Old School and Cheezy Pop Party Tunes as well as Scottish Ceilidh Music if required!

We have all the big artists old and new from Elvis to Embrace and The Kinks to Kylie!

Our music is updated constantly to ensure we always have the latest chart tunes!!!
