Blantyre's Soundtec Disco is managed by Barry Watt.

Barry started DJ ing in the local Youth Centre in 1990 and soon developed a need to expand.

In 1991 he entered the Mobile Disco Business, and gradually built up the business for five years before buying Soundtrax Mobile Discos in 1996 and changing the name to Soundtec.

Since starting the buisness it has gone from strength to strength and he has increased his customer base and played hundreds of venues all over Scotland.

EQUIPMENT

Our Equipment is state of the art, regulary maintained and tested Disco Equipment to provide you with a reliable nights entertainment.

We run on a 1500W Peavey or a Warrior 600W Amplifier with either Peavey Hi-Sys 2 Speakers or Eminence Speakers for smaller venues.
 
We have a  Kam GMX5 Mk2 Mixer linked to a Kam twin CD Player and a Numark CDMix2
 

3 X Large Screen Light Box.
2 X Spotbank Light box (Contains 8 spotlights in each).
4 X Goddess effect light.
6 X Scatter spot effect light.
1 X Cyclone laser floor light.
1 X Tango Laser light.
1 X Smoke machine.
